Youth State Brackets 2008-2006, 2005-2004, 2003-2002, 2001-2000, and 1999-1999 Released! - Coaches Credential Allocations - Please know that only the club administrators or the assigned person can pick up the coaches credentials! Allocated Coaches credentials are of no charge to the clubs. If you wish to purchase additional credentials if allocated then only the pick up person can purchase the additional credentials.
- Update to State Championship Schedule for Saturday at Kellogg Arena only! In an effort to avoid delays in start times and overlapping sessions, we have slightly adjusted the competition schedule at Kellogg Arena.

TEAM STATE CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND ~

This upcoming weekend is a very big weekend for many clubs and teams across the state. The 2013 MYWA State Team Championships will feature Middle School Class A, Middle School Class B, Elementary Class A, Elementary Class B, and 3rd Grade & Under. A total of 5 State Championship Teams will be crowned on Sunday. |
MYWA FLO NATIONAL TRIP~

MYWA is happy to announce it we be offering a travel package trip to FLO Nationals in White, Pennsylvania on April 4-6, 2013. This trip will be offered to anyone with a current MYWA Membership and is available for both youth and high school age wrestlers. Click Here for More Information
Clash of the Titans displayed many of the Best from each Region~

After a great day of wrestling that featured Regional All-Star teams from all 8 regions across the state this past Sunday, Regional bragging rights have been crowned for 2013. The East Region won a close 34-24 dual over the Metro Region in the Elementary Division Final. The Middle School Division was won by the West Region over the North Region by a score of 33-17 in the finals. We want to congratulate all 8 regions for representing teams for the first time since the inception of this event! |
MYWA National Teams Bring Hardware Back to Michigan~
This past weekend there were 8 events held within the state with a very large turnout locally. Meanwhile, approximately 130 wrestlers traveled outside our borders to North Carolina, Ohio, and Illinois and represented MYWA very well.
Team MYWA sent Elementary and Middle School teams to the Hurricane Duals in Mebane, North Carolina and brought home team championships in both divisions. Pictured below is the Team MYWA Elementary & Middle School Teams with their Champioship trophies.

In addition, Team MYWA traveled to Ohio to take on Team OHIOWAY in Tiffin, Ohio and came home victorious. The other team traveled to the Contender Challenge in Illinois placing 2nd as a team (only missing the title by 1/2 of a point). The team had 8 individual champions and 4 individuals runner-ups at that event.
We congratulate all MYWA Wrestlers on their continued growth, development, & success!

MYWA crowns 6 team State Champion this past weekend in Battle Creek! Dundee doubled up by winning both Elementary & Middle School Division B titles. Yale wins the 3rd Grade & Under State Title. Hartland also doubled up by winning Elementary & Middle School Division A titles. Davison wins the Michigan JV State Title. |
