____* Clubs will be charged $2.00 for a no show wrestler.

Age Groups


A wrestler’s age on December 31, 2007 will determine their age group. 

Proof of age will be required if wrestler is challenged within the first two rounds of competition. A birth certificate is the only form of validation that will be accepted.

 
Rules

This event is for wrestlers that did not qualify for the State Tournament in any MYWA region. If wrestlers qualified for the States, you will not be able to wrestle this event.


Modified High School Rules
____*Must be in grade 8 or under
____*Age Groups 01-02, 99-00: three, 1 minute periods
____* Age Groups 97-98, 95-96, 92-94: three, 1 1/2 minute periods
____* Singlets or t-shirt and shorts are required. 
____* If less than three wrestlers are in a weight class, the tournament has the right
_____ to move them up one weight class (in the same age group) except for heavyweight.

11-12: 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 112, 119, 126, 133, Hwt
13-15: 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 107, 114, 122, 130, 138, 145, 155, 170, Hwt
(All wrestlers must be 8th grade and under)

Other__

Only two coaches per mat. Any person operating video equipment on the mat will be considered one coach.
Food will be available all day.
