2011-12 Rules & Procedures Overview - Updated Rules 11/16/2011

MYWA UPDATES FOR THE 2011-12 SEASON:
Membership & Misc. Announcements~

1. No individual membership changes can be made after January 15th and wrestlers may only register for one membership
2. Head pairers can combine weight classes using their discretion. (Language specifying 3 wrestlers or less has been removed)
3. Regional boards will have authority to regulate wrestler participation in novice tournaments.
4. Unaffiliated and wrestlers from outside the host region will be required to pay at weigh-in. Regional directors should ensure that host sites are ready to collect money at weigh-ins.
5. Tournament hosts are required to have a designated medical professional onsite.
