CLASH OF THE TITANS HIGHLIGHTS THE UPCOMING WEEKEND!

2012 Clash of the Titans

Clash Pairings

Clash of the Titans will be the headliner event this weekend! The Clash features All-Atar teams that represent each of the regions across the state in Middle School & Elementary divisions. "This will be the 4th Year for the event, Holt WC will host the event and they have a phenomenal facility and do a great job as a tournament host", says MYWA Duals Director Rob Stehley.

It's a lot of work for all of the regional directors and their coaching staffs. They put in many hours of extra time in organizing their teams for this event. Each region is fighting for annual bragging rights about which region holds the Clash title. It will be a round robin team format so each regional team gets a chance at all the others. Wrestling is expected to last into the early evening and fans are invited to check out the action.

In addition to the Clash of the Titans, there will be 7 tournaments hosted in across the state in most of the regions.

  • Grand Haven will be the featured tournament in the West Region the will offer both an Open & Novice divison.
  • Lawton will be having a Split Start time this weekend. (SW Region)
  • Big Rapids is limited to 400 wrestlers and will have a Split Start time. .(North Region)
  • Gaylord will be the tournament host in the Far-North Region.
